Time Strolling: 800 Years of Recorder Music with Four Fipple-Flute Friends

Join us for a stroll back through time as the Four Fipple-Flute Friends perform recorder music from as recent as the 21st century and as long ago as the 12th century. Virtuoso recorder player Shelley Gruskin leads the group, joined by Bill Bastian, Karen Keenan, and Penny Schwarze. The hour-long concert starts at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, at Nordic Center Duluth, 23 N. Lake Avenue. In recognition of Syttende Mai, the performance concludes with music from Nordic cultures followed by a reception.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations to support the Nordic Center are welcome.
