May Book Club
For our last book of this season we are reading Henning Mankell’s Faceless Killers. This is the first book in Mankell’s acclaimed Wallander series and also the first crime novel to ever win the Glass Key Award for nordic fiction. While it is a crime novel, Mankell also explores Sweden’s attitude towards immigration, racism and national identity. There is much more than a murder mystery here.
We will meet May 8 at the Nordic Center at 1 pm. Happy reading.
