January Book Club
For our January book selection we are going to read something rare: a comic Finnish novel. The book is The Year of the Hare by Arto Paasilinna. This international bestseller tells the story of a journalist who, while out on assignment, hits a hare with his car. This incident causes him to leave his normal life in order to spend a year wandering the wilds of Finland, bunny in tow. Comic mayhem and misadventure follow and we will discuss it all on January 9th at 1 pm at the Nordic Center. All are welcome.
